SP selling minority votes, boycott it: Muslim cleric

Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi Barelvi, National President of the All India Muslim Jamaat, has called upon the community to boycott Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav and his party.

Alleging that the SP was selling minority votes, Razvi appealed to the muslims to vote either for the BSP or press NOTA.

“Akhilesh never stood by us and did not give proper respect to our leaders. Even veteran SP leader Azam Khan was not given any space in the party’s posters. This clearly shows he is not interested in us,” Razvi said. Meanwhile, state vice president of the SP’s minority cell, Anish Ahmed Khan, said, Shahabuddin is defaming Muslims.
