Indecent Inspector asked to report to HQ

In a sudden development, T. Vamshi Krishna Rao, Station House Officer of Santoshnagar police station has been relieved from the position and directed to report to the headquarters on Friday.

It is said a woman police official working Santoshnagar police station of the south zone limits of Hyderabad city police complained against Vamshi Krishna Rao of misbehavior, harassment and causing mental agony.

Sources said Vamshi Krishna Rao had made an indecent proposal to the woman police official but she not only resisted the move but also made a complaint to the higher ups. Accordingly, higher ups made discreet enquiry and go confirmation of his misbehavior.

Consequently, the SHO has been relieved from the position with immediate effect and directed to report to the headquarters. Sources said he could face suspension for his misconduct.

Efforts to reach higher ups for their reaction on the development proved futile.
