Warangal Police chief suspends corrupt SI Rajaram
Warangal Commissioner of Police, A V Ranganath on Thursday suspended
Sub-Inspector N Rajaram of Nallabelly police station.
The police commissioner ordered a discreet enquiry following complaints
against Rajaram. An enquiry found the SI collecting bribes from different
persons through brokers.
Sources the SI forced gangs involved in the smuggling of sand, PDS rice,
country liquor, black jiggery and the brick factory managements pay regular
bribes.
Sources said the SI refused to register a case and allowed an eve teaser go
scot-free.
Following complaints, the city police chief ordered a discreet enquiry
against the SI. The enquiry found him guilty. Consequently, Warangal police
commissioner ordered Rajaram’s suspension .
