Minor boy addicted to smartphone loses mental stability

A 10-year-old boy addicted to smartphone lost mental stability after he lost the online game ‘free fire’. 

According to information, the boy hailing from Alwar in Rajasthan used to spend maximum time on smartphone and play ‘free fire’ game. However, ones he lost the game after which he started behaving weird. 

Since he was behaving abnormally, the boy’s parents took him to a special school where experts are treating him in a bid to bring him to normalcy. 

An official of the special school, Bhavani Sharma said they were trying to treat the boy making him play traditional and physical games.  

About six years ago, researchers have found an imbalance in the brain chemistry of young people addicted to smartphones and the internet. Yet, young people and kids are increasingly getting addicted to smartphones and internet. 

It is time people give serious attention and do something concrete against smartphone and internet addiction.
