At last, BJP finds a candidate who could provoke Asaduddin Owaisi

Hitherto, only three people monopolized the talent of making provocative speeches, statements and gestures in Hyderabad politics.

The three included All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi, his elder brother and party chief Asaduddin Owaisi and BJP legislator Raja Singh.

However, it now appears that a fourth leader has joined the bandwagon if the senior Owaisi is to be believed. This fourth leader, BJP contestant from Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat, Madhavi Latha, seem to have provoked even the senior Owaisi, a Barrister of Law.

It is said Madhavi Latha allegedly made a gesture of pretending to shoot an arrow at a mosque during a Ram Navami Shoba Yatra.

Asaduddin reacted strongly when mediapersons sought his reaction to a purported video showing Madhavi Latha pretending to shoot an arrow at a mosque during a Ram Navami Shoba Yatra.

“Why don’t you ask the Election Commission, CEO, and the Police Commissioner? Am I the Kotwal of Hyderabad,” he asked journalists.

“Can’t the Election Commission see this? Had I done the same, suo moto action would have followed,” Asaduddin said.

Asaduddin was so angry and agitated while questioning the silence of EC and police on the alleged provocative gesture of Madhavi Latha. However, the same Asaduddin Owaisi and his younger brother Akbaruddin justify their provocative statements and speeches they make day in and day out.
