Man learns printing fake currency from Youtube, pumped Rs. 1 crore fake currency into market

A lone man from Telangana is believed to have pumped fake currency worth Rs. 1 crore into market. This shocking fact came to light after Gujarat police arrested the accused.


The fake currency racketeer, Ramesh Babu Kasturi from Hyderabad was arrested by Gujarat’s Rajkot police and produced before a local court there on Wednesday.

Hyderabad police arrested him in September 2022, but later released on bail and was back to printing fake currency notes.

According to police, Ramesh and his sister K Rameshwari entered into fake currency notes printing, post Covid pandemic, as they were in a financial crisis. They learnt fake currency printing from Youtube and Ramesh managed to pump fake currency worth about Rs. 1 crore into market.
