Bandi Sanjay booked for derogatory remarks against Kavitha

Banjara Hills police on Saturday registered a case against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state president, Bandi Sanjay for his alleged derogatory remarks against Bharat Rashthra Samithi (BRS) MLC, K Kavitha.

Police registered the case on a complaint of BRS legislator. Reports suggest that complaints are pouring in against Sanjay across the state.

BRS cadres staged protests across the state and even burnt the effigy of Bandi Sanjay condemning his alleged derogatory remarks against Kavitha.

Kavitha is presently being questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Delhi in connection with the Delhi Excise Policy Scam.

It is alleged that while criticising Kavitha, the BJP state president had said that she will be arrested and she will not get a kiss from the central agency.

The alleged comments of Sanjay invited widespread condemnation from BRS cadres. Even the State Women’s Commission took serious note of the comments. It issued notice to Sanjay asking him to personally appear for an enquiry.
