CJ assures action, THCAA calls off protest

The Telangana High Court Advocates Association (THCAA) on Tuesday called off its protests scheduled for Wednesday.

THCAA had announced the protest against the rampant corruption in High Court.

However, Chief Justice, Ujjal Bhuyan held a meeting with the THCAA representatives and senior advocates in this connection.

Chief Justice assured the members that a committee would be constituted comprising senior judges, members of the bar association and senior advocates to resolve the issue.

The First meeting of the committee will take place on February 17. In view of the developments, THCAA called off the protest.
