Four ‘reporters’ held for extortion attempt

Hyderabad city police arrested four ‘self styled reporters’for allegedly trying to extort money from a massage parlour.

The arrested include Hameed Khan, Shaik Ishtiaque, Md Nisar Khan and Shoaib – all four representing two different ‘self styled news channels.

Police said the accused entered the massage parlour in Banjara Hills and took videos of female masseurs. They also threatened the management with making the videos of illegal activities being carried out at the spa viral on social media.

The management informed about the extortion attemp to the police who rushed to the spot and took the four persons into custody on Sunday.
