Incest relation between aunt-nephew leads to murder

A 28-year-old woman developed incestuous relationship with her 20-year-old nephew in Dahar village of Uttar Pradesh. Over a period, the duo thought the woman’s husband was a hurdle for their illicit relationship and wanted to eliminate him.

Accordingly, the duo shot the 32-year-old man to death. The victim has been identified as Sandip. His wife Preeti and nephew Johnny shot him to death in cold blood, police said.

Sandip went missing since Thursday after which his kin filed a complaint. During the course of investigation, police grew suspicious about the victim’s wife and grilled her. The woman spilled the beans following which her lover was also taken into custody.

The duo recovered the body of Sandip on the information given by the accused. The body was handed over to the kin after post mortem.

Aniruddh Singh, Superintendent of Police, said that a case under section 302 was registered against the accused. Both the accused have been arrested and further investigation is underway, he added.
