Cyberabad police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered a luxury car wroth Rs 1 crore, 11 grams of MDMA and three mobile phones.

The arrested include Syed Abdul Rahman of Musheerabad in Hyderabad and Narendra Shivnath of Delhi. These are the two drug peddlers who supplied drugs at the party organized at Radisson Blu Hyderabad by Manjeera Group director Gajjala Vivekanand.

It may be recalled Vivekanand and 12 others were already arrested in connection with this case registered on February 25. During the course of investigation, police identified the drug peddling network operated by Abdul Rahman.

Deputy Commissioner of Police, Madhapur, Vineet said Rahman used to procure drugs from Faizal, who operates from Colvale prison in Goa. Rahman along with his key aide Narendra Shivnath appointed 15-member team each in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad to sell the drugs. His network delivered drugs only to youngsters at pubs. As many as six cases of drug smuggling are registered against Rahman, but he has been eluding police for the last three years. Further investigations are underway, police said.
