Two more including Naveen’s lover held for his murder

Rachakonda police on Monday arrested two more accused for the ghastly murder of engineering student Nenavath Naveen.

The arrested include P Hassain of Turka Yamzal and Katta Niharika of Hasthinapuram – both in Ranga Reddy district.

With this, police arrested three persons in all in the case. Earlier, police arrested Perala Hari Hara Krishna.

It may be recalled Hari Hara Krishna nursed a grudge against Naveen on account of triangular love with Niharika.

Hari Hara Krishna had strangled his friend Naveen to death in bushes near Rama Devi Public School. He chopped off Naveen’s body parts with a sharp weapon on February 17. The killer took the help of Hassain in shifting the body parts of the victim and later to burn them in an apparent bid to wipe out evidence.

Police said he also took Niharika to the crime scene on his bike and showed her the location where he brutally killed Naveen. Later, the duo had supper in a restaurant.

According to police, the three accused deleted the conversations and call history from their mobile phones apparently to erase the evidence.

Police said all the three accused persons were in continuous touch with each other from the day Hari Hara Krishna executed the murder plan. But, Hassain and Niharika neither inform the police nor others about Naveen’s murder. Instead, they provided all support – money and shelter – to the accused after committing the heinous crime, until his surrender before the police on February 24.
