High-profile burglar held in Kerala

Kerala police got the shock of their life when they arrested a burglar from Telangana. During questioning, police got to know that he traveled to Kerala only by air to commit burglaries. 

Hailing from Telangana, the burglar frequently traveled to Kerala by air. He reaches Thiruvananthapuram by airplane and then used to move in an auto-rickshaw to identify the door-locked houses. 

Commissioner of Thiruvananthapuram police, C H Nagaraju said that after identifying the targets, the burglar used to reach the place using Google Maps and commit the offense. He steals only gold ornaments. He never took the stolen ornaments with him to his native town, Khammam. Instead, he used to mortgage the ornaments and carried the cash. 

Last month he visited Padmanabha Swamy temple, prepared his plans and arrived in Thiruvananthapuram again this month to execute the plan. But police got a tip from an auto-rickshaw driver. Based on the input, the high-profile burglar has been arrested, the police officer said.
