Pahadi Shareef Inspector suspended for interfering in land dispute

Pahadi Shareef Inspector, K Satish has been suspended for his interference in land dispute. Rachakonda police commissioner, D Sudheer Babu issued the orders to this effect.

The suspended police officer is said to have supported those who tried to grab a prime land in Tukkuguda village in Pahadi Shareef police station limits.

According to information, the two-acre land worth crores of rupees has been under the ownership and enjoyment of a person close to Congress leaders. However, the land grabbers tried to encroach the land on the strength of alleged fabricated documents.

In view of the development, those in possession constructed a compound wall around the property. However, the alleged land grabbers lodged a police complaint claiming that the land belonged to them.

The police, as per standard operating procedure (SOP), was supposed to settle the title issue in a court of law. But Inspector, Satish, interfered in the matter for obvious reasons and got demolished the compound wall.

Consequently, the victims lodged a complaint with the police commissioner against the inspector. The commissioner, Sudheer Babu got enquired the matter and found that the inspector is guilty. As a result, the inspector was placed under suspension. The Commissioner warned that although police officers have issued orders many times not to get involved in land related disputes, some officers are bringing bad name to the police department and such people will face action.
