Vikram Goud confident of getting BJP ticket from Goshamahal constituency

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vikram Goud on Friday expressed confidence that he would get party ticket to contest from Goshamahal Assembly Constituency.
BJP’s state election committee chairman, Etela Rajender met Vikram Goud at the latter’s residence on Friday to discuss the political situation. Couple of days ago Rajender met Goshamahal legislator, Raja Singh amid speculation that the latter may quit BJP in view of his suspension from the party.
What is more interesting is that Raja Singh recently met BRS leader T Harish Rao. Though what transpired between the two remained secret, it is speculated that Raja Singh is fed up with internal politics in the party and is all set to join BRS.
In this background, Rajender’s meetings with Raja Singh a couple of days ago and the Friday’s meeting with Vikram Goud, a strong aspirant for Goshamahal assembly seat, gained significance.
After the meeting, Vikram told media persons that he was confident of getting party ticket in the coming elections. He made it clear that he would contest from Goshamala assembly constituency in the coming elections.
Vikram Goud said his family has emotional attachment with the people of Goshamahal constituency for the last 40 years and that he would seek the support of Raja Singh for his candidature.
